Oh, the Thinks!

I don't know about you guys, but after Tuesday night's get together and read, I cannot wait to get started on this show! It sounds like the parent meeting was a great success as well. Huge thank you to everyone for showing up and supporting your kids, this organization and the arts community!

LET'S TALK MUSIC
So, you know how the soundtrack was soooo weird on Tuesday? Yes, that's going to happen when we rehearse with the Broadway soundtrack. Click here for the 2000 Broadway cast playlist on YouTube. HOWEVER, there is an alternative but I must give a disclaimer (and it's purely a personal preference) but I'm not the biggest fan of how the characters are portrayed in this version (in other words - please don't try to mimic these actors)...I'm talking about the Off Broadway Seussical soundtrack. It more closely follows our script. You will need to either download the Dropbox app or play it on your desktop/laptop through the Dropbox site. Click here for the Off Broadway Cast recording.

OTHER THOUGHTS
More info on costumes, props and the like will be coming very soon! In the meantime, stay connected, practice songs daily! Much of being in a community production like this depends on individual rehearsal at home as much as our group rehearsals...we are a team! See you on Saturday...let's do this!
