Tech Notes - Wednesday

From the house, things seemed to flow fairly smoothly. Here are things to note before tonight's rehearsal:

ALL CALL AT 5:30. READY FOR WARMUPS AT 6:00.

• We will have the house closed until 6:30
• Those with later scenes can wait to finish getting ready after warmups (you'll have 30 min before curtain).
• Green room parents need to report by 5:45 to assist as needed.

QUICK CHANGES

• MADDIE needs to wear ALL of Duloc costume under Villager. Can she already have her wig cap on under her headscarf?
• ZHAKYM, KENZIE & BELLA must exit during Goodbye Song "Time to say vamoose..." Go to your nearest exit. CHANGE in hallway or office room (if available).

MIC HAND OFFS

• HALLIE (Young Fiona) ---> JOHN DAVID (Theolonious)
• STAISHA (Mama Bear) ---> CADEN (Dwarf)
• KARA (Dragon) ---> ANGELINA (Baby Bear)

BLOCKING/SCENE CHANGE

• Scene 4 - LOGAN (Duloc mascot) needs to enter from behind SR wing curtain
• Scene 5 - CREW - Railing needs to come out immediately. Watch the placement. It was off center last night. YOUNG FIONA don't forget to circle around the castle when TEEN FIONA enters. YOUNG FIONA stand at an angle at the end of the song.
• Scene 6 - SHREK/DONKEY ablib and chatter until the end of Travel Song #1. Do not get on black platform piece until the dark music begins (Travel Song Cont).
• Scene 8 - FIONA, SHREK, DONKEY exit stage during "Forever Playoff". Wait for lighting change and reenter.
• Scene 9-10 - CREW - Set up campfire/stumps while FARQUAAD/THEOLONIOUS exit during "Air Guitar Crossover" (p 74)
• Scene 14 - CADEN (Dwarf) needs to enter with FTCs when they storm the castle. That way, he's already on stage and we're not waiting. 
• Scene 14 - FTCs need to fill in behind FIONA and SHREK during beginning of Finale

PROPS

• Does CADEN (Dwarf) have a pick ax? Can someone create or find one?
• KNIGHT HELMET (this is a note for Paul or me)
• FIONA - cot for tower scene
• GINGY needs "gumdrop buttons" - Model Magic in blue and purple?
• DULOC - need something inside raffle/bingo drum. Gold tissue paper or something similar so it shows up a little better.

LINES

• SHREK "Princess, get back!" must be said after FIONA sings "I knew, I knew, I knew" for music cue
• ROAR sound fx (note for me)
• SHREK/DONKEY/FIONA - Farquaad jokes still need to clip faster. Scene still feels slow. p 59
• OLIVIA/FAKE FIONA - lower your voice to sound more like LINNZIE
• GUARDS must scream - Scene 3
• WILL/FTCs must chatter when entering - Scene 2
• FTCs must chatter when entering - Scene 13
